Mac knew that there were probably better ways to meet guys, but she sure didn’t know what they were.  Not only did her parents name her Mac, which wasn’t even short for anything, she was also almost six feet tall.  She tells everyone that she was born that height, but it actually seemed as if it had happened overnight. Every day she tripped or fumbled over something new, mainly because her she staggered around like a new born giraffe. She did have what her friend Ann called her athletic prowess going for her.  She knew that she was a shoe in for the coveted MVP trophy. When I was still in elementary school our teacher told us to write what we wanted to be after 20 years. It was for our project. So I wrote down everything I wanted to achieve. I wrote down that after 20 years I want to be a pilot and a successful person. I want to have my own car and my own house. I passed it to our teacher the next day. And so after that we went back to our ordinary life as kids. We play and laugh. But there was a feeling inside me that keeps growing. I realized that I really wanted to achieve those things that I wrote down in our school project. So from that day on I did everything that I can to achieve all those things that I wrote down. I had no idea that I started goal setting the moment I wrote my dreams on the paper. Now after 20 years I am proud to say that I achieved all those goals and many others that I didn’t write down.
